‘Seconds Away From Salvation’ contains 14 tracks of which the two
previously released singles already made their way to the official Top 10
Charts in Finland . First official release, single ‘Drowning’, reached #
9. Second release, the band’s version of Pet Shop Boys’ worldwide hit,
‘It’s a sin’ entered the charts being no. 4 and stayed on the single
charts for the 5 consecutive weeks.

Album was respectfully produced by Petri Majuri, and the vocals were
produced by Hannu Leiden. The guys are also known from Havana Black. Major
Leiden Team has previously produced the legendary Hanoi Rocks.

Nightwish concert in “The Meridian”, Houston, has been unfortunately cancelled because of the damages caused by hurricane Ike.

When I was in the meet and greet line on Saturday, I asked Marco about this show. He seemed a little confused…I pointed out Houston got hit by a hurricane. He was like “Hm, maybe it will get cancelled”. See he was right….

Also, Poisonblack’s Official Myspace has the new video for the first single “Bear the Cross”. Its definitely a huge change from the last two albums, but still very good, so go and watch!

Time flies, we’re already nearing the end of the summer festival season even though it feel the summer has just begun. We still have a couple of festival shows coming up and then it’s time to take this circus indoors to shady clubs and concert halls.

This summer has one of the best for our band, our new album Karma Killer has done really well and the gigs we’ve played have been great, lots of people showing up and singing along with the new songs as well as the older ones. So… a big thank you to all of you who have come to our shows!

As you know, from the beginning of the Karma Killer tour in last April, we’ve had Gary as a touring guitar player with us. But, after all these great shows and moments spent together we’ve decided with Larry, Snack, Jay and Antti to continue as a five-piece band from now on. We thank Gary for this summer and wish him all the best for the future!

Our first show without Gary will be at Turku’s Down By The Laituri -festival on August 2nd.
