Glad I am to see the boys back in action! I must confess…this song is stuck in my head. And the video makes me think there must be more to this story. I wonder what that next one will be??

So the recently Nalle found his way into Dynasty Recordings and had a bit of a spy on Lauri. At about 55 seconds in you get a quick snippet of one of the new songs.

So all I have to say is nice acting Lauri..and who the hell is in the suit!?

He turns 29 today. Lauri got a very special birthday present in the past couple weeks, his first son! Congratulations to him and Paula of PMMP!

Hi everybody!We’ve had a really busy spring, putting the album together with the guys. These “last minute” ideas and fixes have become come very important for the Black Roses album, so all the waiting is worth it! For example we brought this eight years old song idea back to life. It’s a duet song. I got a wild idea to ask the Nightwish singer Anette Olzon to sing it together with me. I called her and she said YES! So good things come for those who wait. Were getting there!

Posting this separately because as far as I’m aware, there is no official word on this yet.

I heard through the grapevine today that The Rasmus are planning to take a break after touring the summer festival circuit in Europe. Then they’ll go straight into the studio to work on Album #7.

This was dismaying because when I learned about their new US record label the other day, I thought for sure that the rumors about a US Fall ‘06 tour would pan out. We know of several US based bands who would be interested in a co-tour with The Rasmus. We know this because we were the little angels sitting on their shoulders whispering into their ears about this great touring idea.

So now we must keep our fingers crossed that when they’re done in the studio, they’ll come explore the rest of the North American continent to kick start their tour for Album #7.

Update: Turned out to be a red herring… they did come to tour the US on their first ever tour. And they even toured with the band we were hinting at, Kill Hannah!

I’ve been completely deaf for the past two weeks thanks to a little furry demon who chewed up my earpiece.

Today I got an old earpiece that I found re-equipped so I could use it since the new one has not yet arrived.

It was pure pleasure to get back in my car and punch on the music which started at No Fear by The Rasmus.
