Time flies, we’re already nearing the end of the summer festival season even though it feel the summer has just begun. We still have a couple of festival shows coming up and then it’s time to take this circus indoors to shady clubs and concert halls.

This summer has one of the best for our band, our new album Karma Killer has done really well and the gigs we’ve played have been great, lots of people showing up and singing along with the new songs as well as the older ones. So… a big thank you to all of you who have come to our shows!

As you know, from the beginning of the Karma Killer tour in last April, we’ve had Gary as a touring guitar player with us. But, after all these great shows and moments spent together we’ve decided with Larry, Snack, Jay and Antti to continue as a five-piece band from now on. We thank Gary for this summer and wish him all the best for the future!

Our first show without Gary will be at Turku’s Down By The Laituri -festival on August 2nd.

Yesterday, Negative appeared live on TV4 Nyhetsmorgon, a morning program in Sweden, to perform two songs: Wont Let Go, and Moment of Our Love.

31 March 08. Negative have announced that their new album “Karma Killer” will be released on May 7 in Scandinavia. The rest of Europe and Japan will recieve the album later this spring. The first single from Karma Killer is “Won’t Let Go”.

Also, Negative have announced that their new guitarist, replacing Sir Christus, is Gary.

“I’ve known the guys for about seven years, played at the same gigs with them with my own band etc., so when Negative was in need of a guitar player, Antti (NGT’s bass player) asked me to come up and try out with them, as they thought that I could fit into the band pretty nicely. Everything’s gone well so far, the mood inside the band is great and it just feel natural”, says Gary. (From Official Site)
