So I sitting here wondering what the band Frail has been up to. I love their music but I had not heard a peep about them in ages. So off to www.frailmusic.com to see what was up. First off I was happy to see this: Mar 05, Hello hello
Yepp, we’re still alive and doing fine! Check out the “shows” -section, we’ve couple of new gigs coming up. We’re finishing our next album’s songs and heading to studio in next late summer/autumn. We’re very excited about the new material and hopefully you are too…   Yeah they are making another album. Frail has signed a booking deal with Sam Agency. I know its old news but what can I say..I have been a busy girl! But I love Sami from Sam Agency. He has to be one of the sweetest guys (if you can get him to speak that is!)  So as a happy Nicole I return to work which is supposed to be what I am doing!

Finnish/Swedish symphonic metallers NIGHTWISH will announce their upcoming U.S. fall tour dates on April 8.

Keeping in line with the tradition of the band’s first two U.S. tours in support of its latest CD, “Dark Passion Play”, the group is putting two dates on sale early — September 17 at La Zona Rosa in Austin, Texas and the previously announced September 24 at the Tremont Music Hall in Charlotte, North Carolina. Both of these dates are on sale now exclusively through EnterTheVault.com, with special VIP meet-and-greet tickets available for Austin only

“The Islander”, the new single from NIGHTWISH, will be released on May 21 and will include the following tracks:

01. The Islander
02. Escapist (instrumental version)
03. Meadows Of Heaven (orchestral version)

Additionally, it will include the videos for “The Islander” and “Bye Bye Beautiful”.

The video for “The Islander” was shot last autumn in Rovaniemi, Finland and was directed by Stobe Harju. The clip will premiere on April 14 at 7:00 p.m. (Finnish time) on MTV Finland’s show “Spanking New”.

NIGHTWISH will be IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson’s guests on Friday, April 4 during Bruce’s weekly BBC 6 Music radio show, aptly named “The Bruce Dickinson Friday Rock Show”. Listen to the program live via the Internet between 10:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. U.K. time at BBC.co.uk.

In the “Found on Flickr” category, I bring to you photos of The Winyls from their gig on Feb 6th earlier this year. Jari Kaariainen took some excellent photos! Very crisp and clear and some interesting color variations.

This is one of my favorites because I always like to see the singer smiling because he is enjoying himself. And Leady has a very nice smile! I think I’m a little envious of his Edwards Scissorhands style jacket.

Be sure to click on the link above and look at the rest of Jari’s great photos! Leady, James James, HC and The Sheriff are all looking good! Pablo seems to be MIA in the photos.

I know I’m looking forward to their long awaited sophomore effort, Honey & Lime. The first singles from it were released 2 weeks ago but I’ve yet to get my hands on it for a listen.

Hi everybody!We’ve had a really busy spring, putting the album together with the guys. These “last minute” ideas and fixes have become come very important for the Black Roses album, so all the waiting is worth it! For example we brought this eight years old song idea back to life. It’s a duet song. I got a wild idea to ask the Nightwish singer Anette Olzon to sing it together with me. I called her and she said YES! So good things come for those who wait. Were getting there!
